Uncle Unc contains functionality that it may be useful to embed in your application. We are developing some javabeans using Unc technology to provide easy drop-in use in existing applications, such as:

A file chooser able to delve into zip and jar files and return the result as a URL

A object browser similar to a Bean Inspector in an IDE, but embeddable in your own application.

A flexible, configurable logfile reader

A mailbox listener and notification bar.

A syndicated newsfeed reader widget.
