ECCO is a simulation model of the interactions between national and large-scale regional economies and the natural environment. It aims at providing new insights into the complex interactions between many different aspects of modern industrial society - it is a synthetic, holistic approach.
ECCO has been used and is being used by many national agencies in Europe, Australia and elsewhere.
This site contains information about ECCO, and an experimental interactive simulation facility. The site is still under development, and hopefully always will be!

A revised installation system for the model is available, along with some fixes to the model itself:
integrated HTML help for the model as a whole, and for individual variables
bugfixes on saving time-series policy data
improved responsiveness and stability
